Gila Regional Board of Trustees
Gila Regional Medical Center is a non-profit acute-care hospital owned by Grant County. The Grant County Board of Commissioners appoints members to Gila Regional's Board of Trustees, which is responsible for management and operation of Gila Regional Medical Center. The Board of Trustees is also responsible for governance, policies and the mission of Gila Regional.
The Board of Trustees is made up of seven members, who are appointed to staggered three-year terms.

Terry Trujillo began his tenure as a GRMC Trustee on January 2009. His is currently the Chief Deputy Treasurer for Grant County.
He was born in Silver City in 1954, graduated from Cobre High School and earned a Bachelor of Science degree from New Mexico State University.
Tony has served for the past 10 years on the Board of Directors of the Arenas Valley Water Association. His term expires December 31, 2011. |
| Ray Baca, Vice Chair 2010 |

Ray, a lifelong resident of Hurley, joined the board in December 1999. "I'm very proud of the care our staff provides our patients. I like working and dedicating my time to see that Gila Regional operates as one of the best hospitals in the southwestern states and in New Mexico."
Ray, who is the past mayor of Hurley, is a member of the Infant Jesus Catholic Church and has been involved in the community as a 4-H hunter safety instructor; deputy livestock inspector; member of the New Mexico Municipal League Budget Committee; and member of the New Mexico Municipal League Board of Directors. His term terminates June 30, 2012. |

Jim began his tenure as a GRMC Trustee on September 1, 2005, bringing with him experience as an executive and board member in a range of businesses. He has also served as a consultant to CEOs in many start-up companies. He and his wife, Cheryl, were co-founders of Children’s World, one of the largest childcare companies in the U.S.
The Leidichs have owned a home here for 10 years and Jim feels that the hospital is critically important to the quality of life and economic vitality of the region.
Since moving to the area he has been very active in the community and also serves on the Museum Society Board as well as the MainStreet Project Board.
His term expires June 30, 2013. |
| Donald H. Montoya, MD |

Dr. Montoya is a semi-retired OB/GYN with years of experience in our community. He moved to Silver City in 1993 and has been here ever since. He provides physician input to the board.
He also serves on the Silver City Museum Board of Directors. His term expires December 31, 2011. |

| Gregory Koury, M.D. |

Dr. Koury was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He attended Sandia High School and then the University of Notre Dame. After receiving his Bachelor's Degree, he returned to Albuquerque and attended the University of New Mexico School of Medicine.
Dr Koury then returned to South Bend, Indiana and attended the Family Practice Residency at Memorial Hospital. He had a private practice in southern Indiana for the next several years and during this time built a large practice and was blessed to meet his wife Lori. Soon after their marriage they decided to return to New Mexico and found Silver City to be the ideal location.
His term expires December 31, 2010.

| Robert Morales, Sr. |

Bobby joined the board in July 2010 and brings a wide range of experience to Gila Regional’s Board. He recently served as Senate attendant for Senator Howie Morales on the 49th NM Legislature for 2009. Bobby is the Jail and Prison Ministry coordinator for the Copper Vicariate Catholic churches in Grant County and has served this position for over 25 years. He is a certified to the fourth degree order of the Knights of Columbus.
Bobby is involved in his community and was named “1999 Citizen of the Year” by the Silver City – Grant County Chamber of Commerce. Bobby serves as the Student of the Month director and is a past district deputy director of LULAC. In 2000, he was selected as LULAC “Man of the Year” and National “Man of the Year”. He has served as Vice President of the Arenas Valley Water Association and on the New Mexico Rural Water Board of directors for two years. For four years he served on the board of directors of Chino Federal Credit Union. He has coached Little League and has been involved in many programs that encourage area youth.

| Pam Archibald |

Pam Archibald was appointed to join the GRMC Board of Trustees in April 2010. She brings with her more than 30 years of banking experience and currently serves as Senior Vice President and manager of the Western Bank, Silver City Branch.
Pam is involved in her community and has served as Western New Mexico University Foundation President, Rotary International secretary, treasurer of United Way of Grant County, and a member of the GRMC Foundation board, to name a few.
Pam and her husband, Bill, are the owners of Finishing Touch Home Interiors. They have one son, Cory, and one grandson, Jaxon.
Her term expires June 30, 2012.
